Start Planning Early
The biggest mistake people make is booking too late. In peak season (May through September), the best Austin movers fill up weeks ahead. Book local moves two to three weeks out and long distance moves four to six weeks ahead.
Ask: Carrier or Broker?
A broker sells your move to the lowest bidder and disappears. A direct carrier uses its own trucks and crew. Ask any mover for their USDOT and MC numbers and verify them. Ours are USDOT 4121451 and MC 1576368.
Declutter Before Moving Day
Local moves are billed by the hour, so the less you bring, the faster and cheaper the move. Go room by room and keep only what you want. Ten fewer boxes can save you real money.
Keep Valuables With You
We'll wrap and protect your furniture, but important documents, jewelry, medications, laptops and irreplaceable family photos should ride with you in your own vehicle.
Understand Your Coverage

Local moves are billed hourly: a 2 bedroom home is $165/hr for about 6 to 8 hours, a 3 bedroom home is $185/hr for about 8 to 10 hours, and a 4+ bedroom home is $225/hr for about 10 to 14 hours. Long distance moves are priced by weight and distance.

Yes. We move upright and grand pianos, antiques, gun safes, pool tables, hot tubs, exercise equipment and industrial machinery, and we build custom wood crates for fragile pieces.
